Edground first met Daniel Reis back in 2008. Before the meeting, Daniel used to travel along rock bands, playing as keyboardist. Since then, Daniel have worked toghether with the trio as their session musician.
The name of the EP, wich translates to "little watermil" was chosen by Daniel himself, and pays homage to the all the black people who were enslaved during the colonial period in Brazil.
Monjolinho EP, produced by BSC, features the original version of Monjolinho Jazz, the 4tothefloor BSC House Remix, and the deeper Trancemicsoul Crescen Moon Remix. Rounding the pack, come the tribalish Afro Blues, that remember some of Marlon D productions.
